INTRODUCTION

The Departments of Geography of the University of Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier University jointly offer graduate work in Geography.  The Waterloo-Laurier Graduate Program in Geography is responsible for all normal academic endeavours such as admissions, the program of instruction and a student’s supervisory committee.  Students in the Program register at either the University of Waterloo or Wilfrid Laurier University (normally depending on where the supervisor is located), but complete coursework and use faculty, laboratories and library resources at both universities.  Students in the program are governed by the general regulations of the university in which they are registered and their degree is granted by that university.
